ABOUT ME

I first want to welcome you as the reader of this blog. There were many reasons why I decided to start this particular topic. I invite you to comment and ask as many questions you like.

I started working for a small startup Internet Provider in the early 90’s. Within a small amount of time that little group became the world’s largest web hosting provider. Verio as it is known now still exists but many of the original people have all left to start successful businesses.

As for me, I left and started my own Web Development firm that focused initially on the mixture of web video and interactive advertising. In June of 2004 that group was sold to a local Advertising Agency.

I had always been interested in Real-Estate. Specifically, Commercial Real-Estate. I started working with a number of Real-Estate heavyweights in the Greater Dallas Area to see where I needed to go in order to stake my place. I was fortunate to have several mentors who have guided me through the process. One of my mentors has done a number of developments in the Southeast Asia areas and we are currently looking to develop prime real-estate in singapore.

Another part of the McKane Organization is AEROBOTICS which is a research arm dedicated to the development of UAV systems for Real Estate and Real Estate Development Solutions. We use manned and unmanned systems to market Real Estate properties. Presently I am the only one allowed to take off and land at Thanksgiving Tower in Dallas. This is a great advantage as I can invite clients for lunch at the Tower Club before we take off to photograph or show their properties.  We have worked with the Trinity Trust to shoot the entire length of the proposed Trinity River Development. We shot everything in 1080i HD. So there are a number of uses for our technology as many would agree. We hope to continue the efforts and take them to new heights.

All that said, I realize the older I get the less I really know. Most of the people that guide and direct me have an immense amount of knowledge in a number of areas. I personally look forward to developing my own hotel project in the near future. As the beatles said: “With a little help from my friends!”
